Create secure sessions
Create a named, short-lived remote session from ChatGPT with an explicit expiry window.
Create short-lived remote screen sessions from ChatGPT. The endpoint user opens a secure browser page, explicitly chooses the screen or window to share, and the live view is delivered through WebRTC.
The browser remains the endpoint trust boundary: the user must actively approve screen capture before any pixels are shared.
Create a named, short-lived remote session from ChatGPT with an explicit expiry window.
Send the endpoint user a secure session page without installing a permanent agent.
Use the browser screen picker to choose a full display, application window or supported tab.
View the authorized screen through the plugin using WebRTC signaling over the MMTNEXUS Remote service.
Check whether the session is waiting, sharing, expired or ended, including host/viewer connectivity.
Stop sharing from the endpoint browser or end the session from ChatGPT at any time.
Support depends on an interactive graphical desktop, a modern WebRTC-capable browser and permission to use browser screen capture.
Supported and validated in the MMTNEXUS lab. Requires the browser to have macOS Screen Recording permission.
Supported architecture for modern desktop browsers. Interactive Windows browser certification is in progress.
Supported where the desktop, browser and Wayland/X11 screen-capture permissions are available.
Used as the plugin client to create, monitor, view and end MMTNEXUS Remote sessions.
Designed for browsers implementing WebRTC and getDisplayMedia(). Chrome and Edge are recommended for current testing.
MCP/API connectivity is supported, but there is no desktop screen to share without a graphical session.
MMTNEXUS Remote uses short-lived session capabilities, HTTPS/WSS signaling, browser consent and WebRTC media. The current browser-only release does not intentionally record or persist shared screen media.
Nothing is shared until the endpoint user chooses a screen or window in the browser picker.
Session capabilities are time-bounded and can be ended immediately from either side.
Current release does not inject keyboard or mouse input and does not expose a remote shell.
